A bit about me
Qualified & Experienced Psychotherapist
Hi, I’m Glenda. I offer a professional and warm therapeutic space to help you navigate the complexities of modern life and relationships. With over a decade of experience and UKCP accreditation, my approach is built on sound theoretical knowledge, deep clinical expertise and first-hand life experience. Whether you are feeling “stuck” in personal patterns or facing a crisis in your relationship, we will work together to untangle the thoughts and dynamics that feel heavy, helping you regain a sense of clarity and control.
You might feel resistant to taking the first step, but nobody ever regrets it. I’m mindful that many people come to therapy wondering whether they will be understood or feel out of place. My approach to therapy is grounded, straightforward and respectful, making you feel welcome and at ease no matter who you are.
Whether you are navigating burnout, bereavement, or the unique challenges of diverse relationship structures, I provide a calm, non-judgemental environment where we can work at a comfortable pace.

What Outcomes Can You Expect?
Starting therapy shouldn’t be another source of stress. We’ll begin by understanding what brings you to sessions and I’ll get to know you and your story. From there, we would normally meet for weekly sessions at my practice in North Shields, at least to begin with but we can discuss frequency should it be a concern.
There is no pressure to have all the answers, or in fact to even have a clear goal. In our sessions, you have a private, professional space to speak openly without judgement. We will work collaboratively to understand the patterns that you want to change, using my integrative background to ease the mental weight of stress and anxiety. We always move at a pace that feels manageable and authentic for you.
